From Doubts to Triumph: Imeko, Our Jerusalem in the Making!

Once upon a time, doubting Thomases scoffed at the dream. “It’s all a fluke,” they sneered, spreading doubt far and wide. The naysayers chimed in, humming a familiar tune:
“It cannot be done!”

But the Pastor-in-Council Works and Projects Committee, led by SVMSE Gabriel Oshoffa, refused to be distracted. Undaunted, they kept their eyes on the prize—focused, steadfast, and resolute to rewrite the narrative.

The Effort That Ignited Change

They reached out far and wide, appealing to the faithful at the parish level.
They extended their cry to Heads of Diocese abroad, rallying support from Celestians around the globe.
Above all, their determination was bolstered by His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F. Oshoffa, who generously contributed to bringing this vision closer to reality.

Today, the Story Has Changed

The fruits of their labor are undeniable:

  • Roads are tarred, and dust now bows to asphalt.
  • Drainages and culverts stand firm, paving the way for a more resilient city.
  • The Imeko Basilica gleams with fresh coats of paint, radiating its splendor.
  • The International Conference Centre is nearly complete, a testament to collective will and divine grace.

It’s not yet Uhuru, but how sweet the song we now sing!
Progress is here, and it’s tangible.
